Jacker The Bear began popping up on Triple Crown promotional materials in the late 1980’s as the company’s adult slowpitch softball tournaments grew to dominate the space around the country. The cartoon character, built to “jack” the ball over the fence for a home run, took on a massive, muscular appearance during the health-and-fitness boom that took hold in the 1990s.

Jacker decided to step out of the spotlight for a while, hibernating from all the public attention and living the good life in the Colorado mountains. He raised many litters of cubs, slimmed down and stayed in shape eating a healthy diet of rainbow trout. But now that the home den is empty and his free time has returned, we welcome Jacker back to Triple Crown events in 2023!
